This really is a sign of the times. Things have been pretty tough since the financial meltdown over the past few years, and jobs have been thin on the ground, but this really take the proverbial biscuit. A man at a Mcdonalds hiring day runs down three people who tried to jump the queue... damn, dude must be truly desperate.

Barcelon vs Real Madrid
Here are the full highlights from the first leg clash between the two Spanish giants. I think it was unlucky for Real to have Pepe sent off but either way Messi's goals were pretty phenomenal! Check it out.

6ft Clothes Rail
I moved into my new home about 6 months ago. My bedroom is not that big so I figured I would try using a clothes rail instead of a bulky, hefty, space munching wardrobe. I was not disappointed in the rail I bought online from Caraselle. The one I bought is pictured below, but they also do them in a variety of sizes and finishes, very well made, sturdy and seriously durable. Six months on and it's as strong as the day I bought it, not a bad buy if I do say so myself!

George Hotz
These are two interviews on Russia Today relating to the recent lawsuit taken out by Sony against the baby faced scourge of the electronics industry George Hotz. After watching these interviews I've kinda taken a liking to the guy. He is obviously highly intelligent and really Sony should be grateful that he did not have the intention to create a pirating platform for PS3 games. I own a PS3 and play games online frequently, I must admit the PSN being down for a week already is a tad annoying, but, if it helps these massive corporations remember who buys their products and supports their companies then so be it.

HAARP Wars
Benjamin Fulford speaking in this video below in 2007, talks about how members of the Japanese government where threatened with the use of a HAARP initiated earthquake attack by the US. This is very poignant, and prophetic given the recent catastrophic events in Japan. Let me know if you think there is some connection here!
Benjamin Fulford investigates a mysterious plasma weapon seen prior to the Niigata earthquake in July 2007 and Red, White & Blue HAARP lights near the epicenter prior to the recent quake in China. Taiwan satellites measured a 50% drop in ionospheric energy above the Sichuan epicenter on the day before the quake. Both earthquakes targeted nuclear military facilities... coincidence or war crime?
www.atlanteanconspiracy.com/2011/03/japan-tsunami-caused-by-haarp.html
The use of this technology may seem far fetched but if you look at it in proportion to some of the technology we have today, it becomes very feasible. The currency and energy war that is currently waging between the US and many other countries seems a credible motivation for the use of such insidious methods of attack.

Avoid The Cencus
I just read a very interesting article about the recent Census that has taken place in the United Kingdom.
http://info-wars.org/2011/03/29/uk-census-2011-options-for-civil-disobedience

I must admit, I find it quite disturbing that a US military contractor, with a more than dubious record for human rights violations, was given the multi million pound task of collecting information about the citizens of the United Kingdom. Lockheed Martin have been involved in a number of cases relating to torture and abuse of detainees during interrogations. Is this the kind of company you want to give sensitive information about yourself to?
http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2011/mar/18/lockheed-martin-targeted-census-protesters
In days gone by people would have been less reluctant to give information, but nowadays, with the amount of identity theft, and the utter incompetence displayed by government bodies, including the MOD when handling so called private data on the country, I can understand why people are less than enthusiastic to be asked to fill out and hand over nice compact personal profile for a government database.

My Favorite Warcloud Verses
I would describe Warcloud as a visionary lyricist. He has a bundle of aliases and a multitude of rhyming styles. Originally seen on tracks such as 'Silkworm' on the Bobby Digital album, he has produced some of the illest verses I have heard in my entire life. I am a big fan, but I like some others are maybe not so keen on his latest material, which is a shame. Looking back at some of the old material I wanted to pick out a few verses that to me epitomize his unparalleled and wickedly imaginative lyrical content.
Kicking off with the first track I heard the guy on.....
some other ridiculous bars from his various mixtapes and albums...
classic ish...

LA Noire First Impressions
This game looks like a cross between Mad Men and CSI, sprinkled with a touch of GTA to boot. I've been checking out the trailers and game play snippets to get an idea of what this game is going to be like. I must say I was immediately impressed by the photo realistic faces of the characters, it gives the game a very cinematic quality. By the looks of things the designers have opted for a similar system to Heavy Rain in terms of the interrogation and decision making interface.
I think the game looks great, and it is top of the preorder charts over at www.game.co.uk. My only hope is that the game has a free roaming element and is not too linear like a lot of games with a heavy focus on an absorbing storyline. LA Noire looks like a strong candidate for game of the year, with an all star cast and ground breaking facial capture technology being used. One major problem with games of this nature in the age of highly successful and addictive MMO's is the replay factor, once it's completed it's probably going back on the shelf!
Well the release date is 20th May so I guess we will find out if it lives up to the hype. Below are a few trailers you may want to check out.

Dolce & Gabbana DG 4084 Sunglasses
Been looking for a nice pair of shades for summer, but not sure what ones to get, saw these thought I'd post a picture and see if anyone likes these or had any better options!

I reckon they're pretty cool, new style with that flat bridge, plastic finish etc. I tried them on in the high street store of www.sunglasshut.com They were charging £180 but when I went online I found them for £140 on www.eyewearbrands.com and then for even less, £113 at www.sunglassescenter.co.uk! Only problem is that it may be too good to be true. I think I'm going to risk it and I will post a review of the glasses and the website in a week or so. If anyone has bought glasses from this website please let me know if they're any good.

Battlefield 3 : All The Gameplay Snippets So Far...
I don't know about you guys but I've been a big battlefield fan for years now. I've never really understood how people could compare such an open, expansive, free roaming game like battlefield with the COD franchise, it's like a simulator versus an arcade game! I'm not writing off COD completely because I agree that the single player story in COD is pretty damn good and fun to play, but multi-player online it doesn't stand a hope in hell.
Anyways enough ranting! I've searched the web for any updates on Battlefield 3 and found a few in depth game play demos, check them out below.

Flight Of Dragons Remix Challenge
Keeping in the theme of the blogs name source I thought it would be good to check out the various remixes on YouTube of Don McLean's original Flight Of Dragons theme song. I've put a few below but if anyone reading this has got skills on fruity loops, reason, logic etc and thinks they can do better then why not post a remix response!
I think my favorites the first one still.

The website www.zelgoddess.rubberslug.com has these and a selection of other really interesting pieces of animation art! Great find Izobel!

Barbour Travel Explorer Bag
I recently bought this bag after about two months of trying to find somewhere that actually had it in stock. It seems some Barbour items are only produced in small quantities or are just ridiculously popular. Anyway I ended up getting it from John Lewis online so if anybody likes this bag or has been trying to hunt one down, they are the best way to go! It goes for £129.95 so if you find it for less you've found a bargain.
